The fae are fickle creatures, there's no rhyme or reason to how they choose to or not to heal the Adopted upon arrival. So, how much or how well they were healed is left purely up to the player. Feel free to have your character pristine as if it never happened or absolutely mangled by the canon point they are pulled from.
