1. At first they'll be a bit hesitant and shy. They know they're more powerful than the Adopted, but they've pretty much been warned to stay away form humans since birth, so some will even be scared. Eventually when they figure out Cale won't eat them, they'll be happy to teach him their language(s, technically; one thing he can find out fairly quickly is that each species has their own language as well as a "Common" Fae language that they all know and speak. Young children typically have better fluency with their own languages than the main one). Asking them their ages will also yield interesting results -- the fae live longer and thus age slower. Certain species will still be children at 50 years old.
2a. The two elementals who'll respond to Cale's aura are going to be satyrs and dryads -- they'll be drawn to him, curious about him, trust him a bit easier, but... 2b. They'll also assume he knows the social mores of their respective species, so any faux pas wouldn't be brushed off like it would with some of the other Adopted.
3. The trees deep in the forest are going to be more standoffish, but the ones on the edge of the forest are proud, and see themselves as guards (...or, perhaps more accurately: a fence) keeping chaos out and order in. They 'll open up a bit over time, but once Cale can have conversations, the trees will seem like they've got it pretty good; they're happy, they like the Court Rulers (for the most part... Some of them are less fond of Sahar), and they like that they get to grow here, where they're respected.
