Hi team! I have a question re: dropped characters and their profiles on the network/their leafs.

When a character drops, what happens in general with their leafs? Do they disappear, go dormant/inert, something else? If you attempt to call or text a character who is gone, do you get any kind of error message or does it just bounce? Thanks!
